IT IS ALL TRUE, BECAUSE I PAINTED IT

The exhibition’s title, translates in a visual key, the phrase used by French writer Boris Vian to describe the story of his famous novel, “The Foam of Days”, published in 1947.
The works presented in Tîrgu-Mureș were painted between 2010-2014, but have never been a part of a previous solo show.
They are either the result of an intense effort – a sprint imposed by external constraints or, on the contrary, canvases painted slowly, as a return to the studio practice after a break.
I hope that showing them together in the small gallery room will open a revealing dialog and will complement in an honest and representative way the larger picture of the artistic path traveled so far.
E ADEVĂRAT, DIN MOMENT CE L-AM PICTAT
Titlul expoziției traduce în registru vizual, fraza prin care scriitorul francez Boris Vian a descris povestea celebrului său roman, „Spuma zilelor”, publicat în 1947.
Lucrările prezentate la Tîrgu-Mureș au fost pictate între 2010–2014, dar fără să fi fost parte dintr-o expoziție personală.
Ele sunt fie rodul unui efort intens, de scurtă durată – un sprint impus de un context exterior, fie, la pol opus, pânze materializate lent, care au marcat reîntoarcerea în atelier după o perioadă de pauză.
Sper că alăturarea lor în spațiul galeriei va genera un dialog firesc și va întregi într-un mod onest și reprezentativ tabloul mai mare al traseului artistic parcurs până acum.
